We perform a variety of surgical procedures at Central Kentucky Veterinary Services. Our surgeons are experienced and highly trained. We realize that it can be stressful to have your pet undergo surgery, but we strive to minimize that stress as much as possible. We provide the best care possible with our highly trained teamed. We will communicate with you before, during, and after your pet’s surgery. Pre- surgical testing is strongly encouraged prior to anesthesia, and in some cases, will be required. This helps us ensure that your pet has normal organ function prior to the surgical procedure. We utilize state-of-the-art monitoring devices (ECG, blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels) as well as dedicated nurse anesthetists during anesthesia. Anesthesia protocols are tailored to each individual patient. If you have any questions about your pet’s surgery or any other procedure, please contact us. We want you to be informed and comfortable with your pet’s care.
