MOLLY KENNEY
LVT
Molly joined our staff in October 2018. She is a Bourbon Countian, graduating from Bourbon Co. High School in 2008. She has worked in the veterinary industry since high school. Molly received her veterinary technician education at Morehead State University, graduating in 2012 with an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology. She also received her Associate of Science from BCTC in 2012. Molly resides in North Middletown with her husband, Tony, their daughters Kali and Kya, and Zeeke, a 3-legged dog. Molly enjoys coaching youth softball & basketball, camping, traveling, and couponing.
Molly provides an exceptional client experience and is a great source of information and comfort for our clients. She excels at her technical skills, i.e., catheterizations (IV and urinary), venipuncture, and dentistry.
LISA HARRIS
Lisa joined our staff in January 2008. She is our primary receptionist and helps to keep things running smoothly in the clinic. She is a lifelong Bourbon County resident and knows everyone and their pets. Lisa is also known as the clinic Mom, providing guidance and wisdom to our youngsters. She is a great asset to our staff, meeting each client with a smile and a warm “hello”.
Lisa has one daughter, Brooke. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, crafting, and watching Lifetime movies. She is an avid UK fan and is very active in church.
HALEY TEDDER
Haley is a 2013 graduate of Nicholas Co. High School. She attended the Medical Career Technical College in Richmond, graduating from the veterinary assistant program in 2015. Haley completed her externship with us and then joined the CKVS family after graduation. Haley enjoys spending time with family and friends, cross-stitching, and crafting. Haley resides in Carlisle, KY, with her husband, Seth, and daughter, Andy Kate. They have two pets: Aspyn, a spunky cat, and a gecko.
Haley enjoys assisting with surgery and all the one-on-one patient experiences in the clinic. Haley is a very loving caregiver for our patients. She has a special gift for comforting pets and their parents during difficult times, such as end of life services. Haley has also joined our grooming team at CKVS and is enjoying expanding her grooming knowledge.
KENNEDY BAKER
Kennedy graduated from Bourbon County High School in 2019 and Morehead State University in 2022. She is currently attending Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in pursuit of a doctorate in veterinary medicine. She began her time at CKVS in 2016 as a kennel assistant and is now expanding her knowledge as a veterinary assistant before leaving for Veterinary School. Kennedy’s favorite things to do in veterinary medicine are participating in surgery, learning about complex medical cases, and working with livestock.
Kennedy is married to Chazz Baker, and they reside on their family cattle farm in North Middletown. She enjoys spending time with their three dogs (Harper Kate, Remi, and Wrangler), family, friends, and working with their livestock.
Jenna Snapp
Jenna graduated from Bourbon County High School in 2021 and is currently completing a Biology/Chemistry Bachelor’s degree at Morehead State University with hopes to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. Jenna started working for us in 2020 as a kennel attendant and has advanced to the role of veterinary assistant as she is furthering her education. She enjoys farm calls and working with livestock and working with appointments in the clinic. Within the clinic she lightens the mood with her fun and feisty charm. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time outdoors with her Australian shepherd, Journey.
Tabitha Millard
Veterinary Assistant
Tabitha started working for CKVS in 2019, during high school. She also began as kennel staff and moved up to a veterinary assistant as she is furthering her education. Tabby is currently a student at Eastern Kentucky University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science and plans on pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. She has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since she was a kid. In the clinic she enjoys assisting with and monitoring surgery. She shares three dogs (Rambo, Tokyo, & Sasha) with her boyfriend, Ethan. Tabby enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping and hiking with her friends and family in her free time.

IVIE TURNER
Ivie started working with us in 2017 as our nighttime dog walker. She keeps our clinic clean and is our all around, fill in where needed person and is an animal lover. She often brings her family along to take care of all the dogs and cats boarding with us or hospitalized. Ivie is married to Lee, and they have twin daughters, Hannah & Katlyn. They share their Bourbon County home with three dogs—Boone, Oreo, & Scout. Ivie and her family love to visit the beach and relaxing on their back porch watching the sunset.
Alyssa Nicholls
Groomer
Alyssa is a Bourbon countian and joined our CKVS family in May of 2023. Alyssa started working in the kennels and is now a veterinary assistant. She is interested in grooming and hopes to own her own grooming business in the future. Alyssa enjoys playing and coaching softball, going fishing, playing video games, and going on adventures with her dog Moose! Alyssa’s favorite part of her job is meeting your precious pets and nursing them back to health.
DARLENE TERRY
Darlene is a transplant from Tampa, FL and moved to Paris in 2008. She joined CKVS as a groomer in 2017. She has 13 years of experience grooming dogs and cats. Darlene has a special talent for handling, calming, and grooming pets that are extremely anxious or become aggressive during their visit. She helps them to be comforted during their visit and finds her job extremely rewarding. Darlene has three children and three grandkids, with another on the way. She has what she likes to call a “herd” of dogs at home.
Trinity Eder
Trinity joined the CKVS family in May of 2023 as a bather for the grooming staff. She has a dog at home named Mushu as well as three goldfish. In her spare time Trinity enjoys reading, drawing, coloring, and playing video games. She also has a love for traveling. Trinity’s favorite part of the job is working with nervous pets and helping them get comfortable with the grooming process.
Leslie Lindsey
Leslie Lindsey is a retired registered nurse who has always had a love for animals and has dedicated most of her life to caring for others. She joined our staff in January of 2023 as a kennel assistant and has developed and stepped into her new role as director of boarding. She oversees the boarding business and all the pets entrusted to our care while their families are away from home. Leslie loves meeting all animals and providing each one with love and care. She is a mother to two daughters and two sons as well as a wife to her husband David. She has what she likes to call “a petting zoo” at home, but they’re all her furry and feathered babies. She cherishes the companionship and unconditional love that animals provide, and she goes to great lengths to ensure all animals in her presence are happy and healthy.
Sydnie Wells
Sydnie is a sophomore at Bourbon County High School. She found her love for animals at a young age. She joined our staff in July 2023. Sydnie enjoys getting to know your animals and gives each one of them all the snuggles and care they could ever want. Sydnie only has one dog at home, but she has grown up around animals. Sydnie strives to make sure your animals are as comfortable as can be while they are boarding with us. She thanks every one of you all for allowing her the opportunity to care for your pups.
Cy Lindsey
Cy joined the CKVS family in the summer of 2023 and we are so happy to have him! Cy is currently a senior at Bourbon County High School and has dreams of being a video game developer. In his free time Cy enjoys hanging out with his cat Davy Jones, practicing Krav Maga, and playing video games. He grew up surrounded by animals and has always had a love for them. Cy enjoys playing with the dogs that come to stay with us and loves getting their energy out.

Eme Tucker
Eme joined the CKVS family in September 2023. She is a junior at Bourbon County High School. Eme plans on going to college to get a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and then attend Auburn University to become a licensed Veterinarian. Eme enjoys spending time with her dog Remi and farming. She has grown up surrounded by animals on the farm, but she has always had a soft spot for cattle. Eme enjoys caring for your pets as they stay with us in boarding and daycare.
Maddie Harris

Maddie joined the CKVS family in the summer of 2024 and we are so happy to have her be a part of our boarding department and team! Maddie is currently a home-schooled student in her Freshman year. She lives with her family who have two bunnies, two dogs, and my two guinea pigs. Maddie loves working with all our boarding dogs, getting to know each of their individual personalities and giving them lots of cuddles and love. In her free time, Maddie loves to bake, and has a dream of in the future opening up her own bakery with her grandmother.
Lorrain Smoot
Lorrain is a long-time Millersburg resident. She loves animals and is an exceptionally caring person to our patients and their owners. She always wears a happy face.
Lorrain is married to John Smoot. They have 3 grown children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. They have enjoyed a myriad of dogs, cats, and baby calves over the years. Lorrain enjoys spending time with family and friends, helping those that need assistance, UK athletics, and is very active in the community.

“Bad Cat” (Winnie)
Bad Cat came to us in 2021. She is full of mischief and has a big personality. She doesn’t know her real name because she is called Bad Cat so often. She has trained us all well since she took up residence, demanding food and attention. She loves to sample bags of food from the retail area. She loves attention, lap time with Dr. Ewalt, cardboard boxes, surprise attacks, and her people.
