At CKVS, the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community is always our number one priority, but especially so during this COVID-19 pandemic. We will remain open normal hours at this point as veterinarians are considered essential business, providing important animal and public health surveillance. We are committed to providing continued exceptional care to your pet.
We want to assure our clients that we are taking extra precautions to minimize contamination of our hospital with the COVID-19 virus. We are in the healthcare industry and take pride in minimizing spread of illness within our hospital using standard disinfecting procedures. In addition to the routine disinfecting of exam tables after every patient, we are also wiping down all commonly touched surfaces like door handles, light switches, front counters, card readers, etc.
We are open for business as usual, but we are offering some alternatives to routine appointments for anyone that is uncomfortable entering the clinic or part of the high-risk population. We would like to encourage our clients to use our drop-off service. We recently announced our new hours for drop-off appointments from 7-8a and late pick-up from 5-6p. We will also offer car-side check-in during normal business hours. When you arrive for your appointment, call the front desk and a staff member will come to your car to collect your pet and other important information. The veterinarian will then perform the exam in the hospital. You will be contacted by one of our licensed technicians to discuss exam findings. You can pay over the phone and a staff member will bring your pet to your vehicle.
We will be happy to deliver food &/or medication to your car.
Out of an abundance of caution and respect for those at greatest risk, we ask that anyone who has any symptoms of illness to please not enter the clinic. If you have a pet that needs medical attention or medication refills, please call the clinic to make arrangements to have your pet seen.
